About Mohamed Mosaad
I’m a product designer working across AI, enterprise and consumer products. I help teams find a clear direction, then work through the flows, interactions and interface details that make it useful.
I started designing and building websites in 2006. Since then, I’ve run a design studio, led research at Tamara and designed products for teams handling complex financial, learning and document workflows.
Over the past three years, my focus has been consumer and enterprise AI products. I’m interested in how people understand what a system is doing, judge its suggestions and stay in control of the next step.
How I work
I help teams turn an unclear brief into a problem they can work on: what matters to people, what the business needs and what we should learn first.
I map flows, explore interactions and work through the states around them. In AI products, that includes making the system’s interpretation visible and leaving people room to review and correct it.
Interviews, prototypes and usability sessions help me check assumptions early. I bring the findings back into prioritization and design decisions with the team.
I work with product and engineering on scope, interface details and reusable patterns. My background in development helps me discuss constraints and carry the design intent into implementation.

March 2023 – Present
Co-Founder
I co-founded DesignPeer to work with startups across the GCC, spanning fintech, education and commerce. I start projects, set the design direction and work with the team through execution.
That work also exposed how difficult it can be for teams to keep research close to fast-moving product decisions. Demos and in-depth conversations with teams have helped shape Qoots, an agentic research platform we’re building.
September 2025 – March 2026
Senior Product Designer
I worked across confidential client engagements, shaping AI features and workflows. My role covered product direction, stakeholder alignment, phased delivery and testing multi-step interactions.
I also adapted the design system for Arabic and right-to-left use, covering components, variants and tokens for bilingual product development.

UX Lab Lead
I founded and led the UX Lab, connecting research and experimentation with product direction. The work included interviews and in-store studies across the GCC, alongside hands-on design for Card, Checkout and Shop.
I partnered with product, engineering and operations to turn what we learned into priorities, design decisions and experiences ready to build.

Lead Product Designer
I led client engagements across enterprise and consumer products, working directly with founders and executives. I took early ideas through research, product definition and detailed design, using testing to check direction before teams committed engineering time.
Through Toptal, I worked with New Fortress Energy, Aanaab, Yoliday and Gilded.
April 2021 – September 2022
I designed the enterprise app from the ground up and supported the consumer team in keeping the experiences connected. Research, testing and design-system work informed the details of gold ownership, trading and approval workflows.

Founder & Design Lead
I founded MSPIRED while studying computer science and ran the product and design studio for nearly a decade. I led a team across discovery, strategy, UX, interface systems and delivery for consumer, enterprise and public-sector work.
One engagement was a statistical hub for the Arab Labor Organization, used by affiliated institutions across 22 countries.
